Risk Disclosure

Last updated: May 28, 2026

Trading involves substantial risk of loss. You may lose all of the capital you commit, and in some products more than that. Read this disclosure carefully before using Quantlow AI signals to make any trade.

This Risk Disclosure summarises the principal risks of using Quantlow AI — its trading signals, AI chart scanner, and browser extension — and of trading the instruments they reference. It is provided for transparency and does not replace professional financial advice.

1. Nature of the service

Quantlow AI publishes algorithmic trading signals and AI-generated chart analysis (via the AI Scanner and browser extension) derived from statistical, computer-vision, and machine-learning models. All outputs are informational. They are not investment advice, not a recommendation to buy or sell, and not personalised to your circumstances, objectives, or risk tolerance.

1a. Automated chart analysis (AI Scanner & extension)

  • The AI Scanner and extension read a chart image or screenshot and infer a setup. They can misread the chart, misidentify the instrument or price levels, or produce a confident-looking verdict that is wrong.
  • A verdict is a probabilistic opinion, not a signal to act. Verify everything against your own analysis and risk plan before placing any trade.
  • The extension never executes trades and never accesses your broker account — you place every trade yourself.

2. No guarantee of performance

  • Past performance — including any historical accuracy figures shown in the app — is not indicative of future results.
  • Model accuracy fluctuates with market regime, liquidity, news, and many other factors outside our control.
  • Signals can be wrong, late, missing, or duplicated. You must verify each signal against your own risk plan before acting.

3. Risk of total loss

Options and CFDs are leveraged products. Adverse market moves can result in losses that equal or exceed your initial deposit, depending on the product and broker. Only trade with capital you can afford to lose entirely.

4. Specific instrument risks

  • Binary / fixed-time options. These instruments expire at a specific time and either pay a fixed amount or zero. Losses can be 100% of the stake on a single trade.
  • CFDs (Contracts for Difference). Leverage magnifies both gains and losses. Holding costs, gap risk, and forced liquidation by your broker can produce losses materially larger than expected.
  • Crypto pairs. Highly volatile, often illiquid outside major venues, and subject to 24/7 price gaps that may bypass stops.

5. Execution and broker risk

Quantlow AI is not a broker, exchange, or counterparty to your trades. Execution happens at your broker, on their terms, at their prices. Slippage, spread, withdrawal policies, and regulatory standing vary by broker — research yours before funding it.

6. Data and technology risk

  • Signals depend on third-party market-data providers. Outages, delays, or bad ticks can affect outputs.
  • The platform may be unavailable due to maintenance, scaling, or external dependencies (Supabase, Paystack, Vercel, market-data providers).
  • Notifications can fail to deliver. Treat the in-app feed as the source of truth.

7. Emotional and behavioural risk

Frequent trading, "revenge" trading after losses, and over-sizing positions are common ways traders destroy capital. Even a profitable signal stream can lose money in the hands of a trader who does not follow a disciplined risk plan.

8. Regulatory and tax risk

The legality and tax treatment of options, CFDs, and crypto vary by country and can change. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the service and any trading you conduct is lawful where you live, and for reporting and paying any taxes due.

9. Suitability

Trading the instruments referenced by Quantlow AI signals is not suitable for everyone. Consider whether you understand how these products work and whether you can afford the high risk of losing your money. Seek independent financial advice if you are in any doubt.
